Can’t believe it has been 5 years!
This August I’ll be celebrating my 5-year anniversary at Worldwide Internships. I remember when I first joined WWI, I entered as a University Relations Coordinator, where my main job was to recruit candidates and seek partnerships with top universities in Mexico, since then I have been moving around in the Sales and Recruitment Department in positions such as National Team Leader, Sales Specialist Americas until my current role as a Sales Specialist Worldwide.
One of the things I like the most about working at WWI, is that I have had the opportunity to not only develop myself in sales and recruitment, but I have also been able to learn about business development, placement, and visa processes.
I can proudly say that I have placed and assist candidates in their visa processes, providing them an end to end service.
However, there are 2 things I value the most about working here:
1. The fact that my job has a life changing impact in a person
In some way, I feel that I have been able to reach the candidates and make them see how important is to have an international experience and that all the good and not so good moments that they live during their program, will help them in the future.
It may sound a bit presumptuous but most of my candidates come back for a second program!
2. The people I have come across during this journey
I have been so lucky to have met incredible people along the way, not only the amazing WW Team, but also university coordinators, partners, candidates, and parents that have left a huge impact in both, my professional and personal life.
So, all I can say is that so far, this has been one of the most rewarding experiences in my life.
